GINNY.

The Cotswold Gin Display Shelves

This project was kindly sponsered by AHEC Eurpoe, who provided the American Red Oak. Sebastian Cox helped mentor us during the design stage of this project. Cox was great to work with, his creative mind made us think of new and different directions to take our products.

I took inspiration from Richard Serra's sculptural work in the Guggenheim, Bilbao. The relationship between components in Serra's work is what inspired my gin shelves.

Through the process of steam bending I created these floating shelves. The purpose of the shelves is to act as a marketing tool for 'Cotswold Gin' by displaying their bottle.
